      Shuttle Spacelab Launches

From this page, you can access a variety of useful information about all the missions of the Spacelab program. Spacelab was one of Europe's main contributions to the Space Shuttle Program. It consisted of a modular lab module that fit inside the shuttle payload bay, a pallet system that could be attached to the sill of the payload bay and an Instrument Pointing System that could be used for astronomy missions. Twenty-four Space Shuttle missions were dedicated science missions using Spacelab and countless others utilized components from Spacelab's flight tested hardware components. You can also get more information about Orbiter Vehicles or Pre STS-1 missions or access the Shuttle Mission Index.
