Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF)

The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) is the hub of instrumentation and data processing operations. It is three stories tall and contains 12,669 square meters (136,378 sq ft) of floor space and is located to the west of the Headquarters Building. The building houses offices, laboratores and test stations. Systems receive, monitor, process, display and record information received from space vehicles during test, launch, flight and landing. It also houses KSC calibration labs and the KSC administration computers.
